Leads
A lead is an enquiry. It always points at a contact — the person — and carries the pipeline state: stage, status, priority, source, assigned team and member, attribution, and any custom fields.
Contacts
A contact is a person. Leads are enquiries attached to contacts, so one contact can carry many leads over time.
Campaigns
A campaign is a bulk send to a resolved audience. Campaign jobs are routed to leadx-ms-send-manager; one-to-one messages and AI Genie outreach go elsewhere. If you are sending to many people from a template, this is the right surface.
AI Genie outreach
AI Genie plans and sends personalised, multi-step outreach to people you already have — or to people it generates for you. Unlike a campaign, which sends one template to everyone, Genie writes per-recipient messages and can run on a recurring cadence.
Workflows
A workflow is an automation graph: a trigger event, then a set of nodes connected by edges. It is what the visual builder in the LeadX app produces, and the execution engine lives in leadx-ms-workflow.
Chat & conversations
LeadX has one unified inbox. WhatsApp, Instagram and website webchat all write to the same UnifiedMessage collection, so a conversation reads the same regardless of channel.
Imports & files
For anything larger than a few hundred records, use the import pipeline rather than bulk create. Imports stream through leadx-ms-import with progress, pause and resume, and can handle tens of thousands of rows.
Integrations (apps)
Everything under /apps configures a connected service — an email sender, a messaging channel, an AI provider, storage, or a calendar. It is the largest area of the API at 145 endpoints, but it is almost entirely one repeated shape.
Analytics & logs
Three distinct surfaces: prebuilt statistics, configurable dashboards, and raw logs.
